Everyone fighting/bidding for the same job means it will simply go to the cheapest freelancer, not the most skilled person who can deliver something way above the scope!

Lack of customer support, I find when something goes wrong there is no accountability. I had a payment held up for 2 weeks, unacceptable.

I would like to think so, AI is simply unable to provide the same human grade level of work, not to mention AI completely lacks the ability to decipher client scopes, computers just don't think like us.

I think GenAI can easily generate images or arts out of a prompt. In fact I believe some designers are already using it themselves to help do low budget work. For good quality bespoke designs, I still see a lot of values from higher-end designers at the moment.
